We are beginning our next project in January. We will interview eighty or more people living homeless in Portland (and the surrounding area) and through a process of listening, writing, and workshops, create a play from those stories. Not simply the stories of homelessness, but the stories of mothers, fathers, children, or lives lived and choices made. We may not agree with those choices, but that does not change the value of the story, or of the life lived.

I would like to help you with your project. I have been a social worker for over 30 years so I would be good at interviewing the homeless individuals for your project. I also like to write. Hearing and making public these stories has been a goal of mine for quite some time.
